1. people who chatter noisily inside an aircraft with complete disregard for the mental health of the co-passengers.
2. people who don't listen to the inflight announcement for seatbelts and expect the flight attendant to come and request them personally.
3. taxidriver who refuses to ferry passengers stating the distance is too close. You can walk, he says!
4. mumbai rain. incessant and thoughtless. It clings to you like a stubborn stain that doesn't go even after several washes.

If you offered enough, I think any taxi will ferry you any distance.
The taxi thing I'm not surprised. In Delhi even auto guys do it.
David: taxi drivers don't give you the chance to even offer (enough or more!)....they just look at you in complete apathy and disregard at the mention of a destination not commensurate with their plan for the day!
Reno: True. It's an epidemic....!Actually in Bangalore the auto guys are worse...so I shouldn't be complaining...
aaahh...and i have lived there for a year. Trying to hail a taxi everyday to and from work....the longest it took me to get one once, was 50 minutes....: )
Dusty: Now you know why I don't like Mumbai...atleast in Bangalore one can bribe the autofellows with a hapless-damsel-act....here in Mumbai it doesn't work :(
Bang on !! I seem to agree with All of them :)
and Stopped cribbing abt Bangalor eauto guys...wo kabie sudharenge nahi..and one guy told me "m'adm you think only from the passengers angle !! " ...what the heck? I need to pay for the autos and also think from their angle too ..lol !!
looks like bangalore is in the same state as mumbai rains
insensitivity - one can find it everywhere.. It irks more when the people are educated and are from social strata where importance is given to grooming.. Goes only to show that being sensitive has nothing to with the above mentioned.
